Why are certifications and compliance with the rules necessary?
One of the current topics is also the REI fire resistance certificates, which have undergone a certain development over the years. Over the past year, the company has successfully certified all possible combinations of layer assemblies for a sum exceeding 1.5 million Kč, and can therefore supply all these assemblies in the REI 30 DP1 standard, also in accordance with the new requirements of certification institutions. At the same time, it thereby contributes to the design and improvement of construction solutions. In this respect, the company also significantly contributed to the cancellation of the REI 30 DP1 test with a combination of 2×30 mm of mineral wool and EPS and PIR, which from SKYMAT's point of view was perceived as at the very least a fire risk, while another wool manufacturer continued to supply it to the Czech market and, in pursuit of profit, overlooked the possible consequences.
